Verdant Vale
The Verdant Vale is a region in Dimitar.
Tucked away in the eastern portion of this continent sits the dark forests of the Verdant Vale. A region home to dark clouds and hard lives, the thick forests surround the massive river delta that spills into the sprawling wetlands and swamps of the region.
Once ruled by a Kingdom keeping the peace with the many Lords of this land,
King Vladimir the Iron,
Son of Malikar the Bold,
Grandson of the founder of his house, Rurik the Great,
Slayer of Dragons,
Father of Swords,
The Iron Fist,
The Barbarian King ,
was tragically slain by the Dragon King to the West.
As a result of this, the Verdant Vale would soon splinter into many factions following the death of the Royal house of Rurikkin. The ambitious dreams of the founding King Rurik seemed to have all faded away as the Verdant Vale is once again thrown into chaos.
The people now face both the warring states as well as the many dark monsters that go bump in the night. With stories of goblins, ghouls, werewolves, and vampires, it would seem as if the people of the Verdant Vale are in a hopeless position. But who knows, maybe this will change.
Within the swamplands of the Vale, sits the quiet town of Maedwin. The sleepy village makes it's living acting as a common rest stop between the cities of Kaligrad and Larendir. Here within the quiet town, a peculiar story is about to begin.
